Update:
The blog is back online, though I expect frequent issues to crop up for two reasons primarily:
- Wordpress 2.1.1 is not an official Wordpress release. It’s not even an RC. It is known to be quite buggy. But I hope it’ll stick together.
- I am still not satisfied with the Template. There’s something still missing. Something that’s typically Shrikant. It’s not yet, how do I put it - boisterous?
Do let me know your thoughts. And if you can recommend a template for me, well, maybe you’ll get some free ice-cream…

To edit CSS you need to either pay or have credits in wordpress right? What’d you use?

I used my own Wordpress installation…
Of course, if you have a wordpress.com blog, you need to pay them $15 a year and they maintain your domain and stuff like that, but you don’t get to add your plugins… So I boutght a domain name and webspace. I have about 250 MB of hosting space and 2.5GB of Bandwidth… Gotta use up that, donccha think?
Anyway, I just upgraded WP to the latest version, and I need to do the same with all the plugins… Hence, the downtime.

What?
It was a damn cheap offer. And I took it. But the hosting ain’t all that great.
I suggest you take a dekko at the Wordpress offer. It’s a mere INR 750 for a whole year. Not much if you ask me.
Unless you want plugins, themes and stuff like that…
Or you could invest the same in a hosting plan…
Just a thought.
